4:00 PM – Four Pathways to Innovation with Rabbi Hayim Herring, Ph.D.
Congregations and organizations are increasingly expected to be more “innovative” and “entrepreneurial.” But what do those concepts mean in the context of a kehillah and how can congregational leaders pivot toward ongoing innovation while remaining authentic?
Join Rabbi Herring in a workshop on Four Pathways to Innovation. Participants will learn about the difference between innovation and entrepreneurship, and four proven strategies for sustainable innovation that work within congregations and nonprofit organizations. Through theory, peer-to-peer learning and practice, participants will leave with resources that they can immediately apply to their own unique communities.
6:30 PM – Dinner with Wine
7:30 pm – A Master Class in Creative Jewish Music with Shai Tsabari
The distinctive voice and personality of Shai Tsabari bring a new spirit to the words of ancient poets and break barriers between the artist and audience, combining the traditional and the contemporary. Shai will share his own life journey and his new understanding of the complex Israeli identities and will offer an uplifting performance of a unique blend of Middle Eastern music, Klezmer elements and rock.
The program is free of charge for RA members and their spouses.
