Gila Katz is Director of Midreshet Yerushalayim in the Ukraine and Eastern Europe since 1999 and Director of Camp Ramah-Ukraine since its inception in 1992. Before immigrating to Israel in 1996, she was principal of the TALI Jewish Day School in Chernovtzy, and coordinator of Midreshet Yerushalayim educational programming in the Ukraine. Since 2000, Gila has also been in charge of Teachers Training Seminars that are conducted bi-annually in the FSU.
