| Shimon
Arbel
Director General

Mr. Shimon Arbel is the Director General of the Schechter Institute of
Jewish Studies. Shimon grew up in the Conservative Movement in Canada and made
aliyah in 1973. He has a B.A. in Jewish Studies and an M.A. in Contemporary Jewry
from the Hebrew University. He is an active member of Ramot Zion synagogue in
Jerusalem and his children study at TALI schools and are active in Noam. Shimon
worked for fifteen years at the Hebrew University in public relations and development,
serving as Executive Vice President of the Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University
and as Executive Director of the Board of Governors. In recent years, he has served
as Executive Director of the Fulbright Foundation in Tel Aviv.

Price

Linda Price is a veteran publicist who has worked for a number of public
institutions in Jerusalem and later founded the public relations firm, Linda.Ink,
before joining the Schechter Institute in 1996. She earned a B.A. in International
Relations and History (1976) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an M.A.
in Communications (1981) from Temple University, Philadelphia. She lives in Jerusalem
with her husband, Larry, a filmmaker, their three children, Yehuda, Abi, and Amalia,
and their mutt, Ziggy.

Chikli Executive

Rabbi
Eitan Chikli has been the Executive Director of the TALI Education Fund since
1994. He is an ordained rabbi in the Conservative Movement. He previously served
as the Director of Camp Ramah in Israel, as the Educational Director of Kibbutz
Hanaton's Education Center and as an officer in the Israel Defense Forces.
Rabbi Chikli is a Wexner-Israel Fellow [2001] graduate of the Master in Public
Administration Program of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and has an
M.A. in Jewish Studies from the Schechter Institute for Jewish Studies and a B.A.
in International Relations and Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies from the Hebrew
University. He is studying towards a D.H.L. (doctor of Hebrew Letters) in Jewish
Education. Rabbi Chikli was born in Tunisia and immigrated to Israel from
France at the age of 19. He is married with 3 children.

Alexander
Even-Chen
Dean, Graduate School of Advanced Jewish Studies

Dr.
Even-Chen is a lecturer in Jewish Philosophy at the Schechter Institute. He has
a Ph.D. in Jewish Thought from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and was ordained
as a Conservative Rabbi by the Schechter Institute. He is a member of the Inter-religious
Coordinating Council in Israel and of the executive committee of the Rabbinical
Assembly in Israel.

Harvey Meirovich

Rabbi
Dr. Harvey Meirovich is the Dean of the Rabbinical School. Rabbi Meirovich has
served as a pulpit rabbi and teacher in Canada, England, Russia and Australia.
He has published numerous articles and books on the historical and theological
aspects of the Conservative Movement. Since his aliyah to Israel in 1989 he has
been a lecturer at several Israeli academic institutions.
