The Schechter Institutes, Inc. is a not-for-profit (501-c-3) organization committed to advancing pluralistic Jewish studies programs that are reaching tens of thousands of children and adults in Israel and the Former Soviet Union. Schechter's educational efforts are embodied in the work of four institutions based in Jerusalem, Israel:
Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies
A Graduate School of over 550 students which offers innovative, interdisciplinary M.A. programs to Israeli educators of all backgrounds and beliefs. The Institute's more than 1000 graduates work in the field of Jewish education throughout Israel.
Schechter Rabbinical Seminary
The international rabbinical school of Conservative Judaism, serving Israel, Europe and the Americas, prepares spiritual leadership for the Jewish people. The Seminary is pioneering the first accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (Chaplaincy) Program in Israel.
TALI Education Fund
The pluralistic Jewish education network for the children and parents of Israel's public schools which encompasses more than 180 State (secular) schools and pre-schools, providing enriched Jewish studies to more than 35,000 children and their parents.
Midreshet Yerushalayim
An education network providing Jewish education to communities in Ukraine and Hungary and conducting Jewish studies programs for Russian-speaking immigrants all over Israel.
