Welcome to "Come and Learn" at Schechter.
At The Schechter Institutes, we believe that Jewish education is the birthright of all Jewish people, regardless of their level of observance. Engaging in an informed, pluralistic dialogue around Jewish knowledge and tradition is essential to the future of Israel as a Jewish and democratic State and to the future of Jewish communities around the world as vibrant centers of Jewish life.
The Schechter Bookstore and the TALI Education Fund Bookstore offer special discounted internet prices. You will find a wide array of books reflecting Schechter's latest research in the areas of Women and Judaism, Responsa, Prayer and Liturgy, Jewish Law and more, as well as colorful learning materials and Siddurim for children.
Our Schechter on Judaism menu is updated monthly with new articles on timely Jewish topics, written by Prof. David Golinkin in his monthly column, Responsa in a Moment and in his compendium of articles, Insight Israel, written between 2001-2006.
