The Textbook Department of the TALI Education Fund publishes textbooks and teacher guides in Hebrew and easy Hebrew in the following subjects: The Weekly Torah Portion, Jewish Holidays, Siddurim for Children, Values Education, Values Kits, Teacher Kits and books for  Teachers and the General Public. The textbooks and teacher guides are written for educators and students of the TALI school network in Israel and for educational staff and students of Jewish Schools overseas.

 

These innovative and graphically pleasing resources are used in conjunction with the TALI syllabus. A welcome addition to the field of Jewish education, these textbooks are being used in Jewish Day Schools around the world, some translated into easy Hebrew; others tailor made to the specific language requirement of the community placing the order.

 

NEW FOR DIASPORA COMMUNITIES: Friends Across the Sea; a textbook in English on Jewish Peoplehood

The English version of the popular Friends Across the Sea textbook, the first curriculum ever written for children on Jewish Peoplehood, will be introduced into North American Jewish communities in the 2012-13 school year with the hope that it will form the basis for twinning with Israeli schools. The book includes a special Let’s Talk section with questions to spur dialogue between Israeli students and Jewish students around the world and to nurture awareness of the connection and responsibility both groups have for each other.
