Opportunities to Create a Lasting Legacy for Jewish Education at the Schechter Institute

Endowments at the Schechter Institute: A Schechter Endowment strengthens our institution, and guarantees that it will continue to lead in the field of pluralistic Jewish education in Israel.

Endowment Opportunities include:
• The Center for Women in Jewish Law
• The Center for Tel Aviv/Jaffa Studies in Neve Zedek
• Faculty Chairs
• Scholarships for rabbinical training at our Rabbinical Seminary
• Teacher training in our Graduate School

What an Endowment in your Name Provides:

$20 Million will endow and name the Graduate School of Jewish Studies at the Schechter Institute.

$10 Million will endow and name the Schechter Rabbinical Seminary.

$2 Million will endow and name a research center or M.A. degree track at the Schechter Institute.

$1 Million will endow an academic chair for an outstanding faculty member, in Judaism and the Arts, Women's Studies and Judaism, Land of Israel Studies, Bible, Midrash, Sephardic Studies or Contemporary Jewry - assuring the continued high quality of our teaching and research.

$500,000 will endow a rabbinical student scholarship in perpetuity, to train a Masorti Rabbi to serve as a spiritual leader in Israel or Europe.

$100,000 will endow an annual M.A. scholarship in perpetuity, for an Israeli schoolteacher
